Timeless Colors & Beautiful Style | Pear Tree Estate Wedding| Jacob and Lindsay
Weddings are always so much fun for Kristin and I and when their is a history that goes beyond that it's even sweeter. Kristin first met them when Jacob and Lindsay asked her to photograph their newborn baby boy almost 3 years ago and has been photographing their family ever since. While I (Heather) did not know Jacob and Lindsay prior to their engagement session last fall, I quickly realized there was a family connection. I've known Jacob's sister Sarah since high school and had the pleasure of photographing her and her 3 boys a couple years ago. We both enjoyed seeing many familiar faces and making friends with lots of new.
The colors Lindsay chose were muted, timeless and gorgeous... Ivory, blush, pale lavender and mauve. I shouldn't have excluded Jacob in that last statement cause I'm sure he had strong opinions and was heavily involved in the planning like most men. ha! Ahhh, wait til you see the tall candelabras gracing the tables with amazing fresh flowers. And all the adorable flower girls and ring bearers. Too cute! Live music is awesome and they picked incredible musicians... a harpist during the ceremony and the Bluewater Kings Band for the reception. This was such a fun wedding at one of our all time favorite venues.
There is one picture that if you know Jacob, you will completely understand. And if you don't then you will be thoroughly confused. Why in the world would we bring brown paper bags, one empty and one with a drink and take pics with them? Well.... when Jacob gets nervous he throws up. It's something widely known about him and he's quick to share it with anyone. We love that he can joke about it so we knew he'd be willing to have some fun with it. So when you see the coordinating his and her brown paper bags, you will understand. ha!
May their life together bring them lots of fun memories for years to come and may they never run out of brown paper bags. :-)
